Little green men

I fled from the Edinburgh drizzle into St Giles' Cathedral.  I can't remember the last time I came here.  It may be forty years or so.  Whenever it was, I think I was oblivious to how many carvings of the Green Man the church contained.  The man selling the photography permits said he had been told there were sixty!  I didn't spot that many, but to be honest I wouldn't have spotted as many as I did without the telephoto lens.  There may be many others high in the roof.  Many of the ones I photographed were not visible with the naked eye.

Or not my naked eye anyway.
