Hi Mr Priestley, I just wanted to say that I started reading your Tales of Terror series and I absolutely love it!!! (Sorry if I'm not supposed to write about this here on your blog, but I wasn't sure where to do it- and I wanted to tell you straight away and not use snail mail because I live half-way around the world).
I read the Tales of Terror from the Black Ship first and I've just devoured Uncle Montague's tales of terror. They are the best ghost stories I've read in a loooong time.
I love the twists at the end, how the short stories (which are thrillingly frightening!) are inside the 'main' story. I can't wait to read the tunnel's mouth next!
I hope you will continue writing the Tales of Terror stories because I would never tire of them! They're brilliant and hopefully I will be able to read them to my kids one day- if they inherit my 'scary story' genes that is!
And the pictures of Wales is very beautiful as well :)
Thanks Jinnie. It's really nice of you to take the time to write and thanks for all those words of praise. I appreciate it. Hope you like Tales of Terror from the Tunnel's Mouth as much as the other two. It's nice to know my books are being read and enjoyed on the other side of the world!
