Two copies of the uncorrected proofs of The Dead of Winter arrived today. It is very exciting to see it in book form for the first time.

  1. Hello Chris,

I am a Dutch librarian, and would like to know which technique you used illustrating Tales of terror from the black ship?

    Best regards,

    Karen Bertrams

  2. Hello Karen. Good to hear from you. I didn't illustrate Tales of Terror from the Black Ship. All three Tales of Terror books were illustrated by David Roberts.

  6. Keep popping back to the blog Janet - I hope to have the actual cover artwork soon and I may put up an extract or two nearer the date.

  7. Hi, how many copies of the uncorrected proof have you issued? I absolutely loved Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror!

  8. Hello Anonymous. I'm pleased to say that the actual book is out now. It was published here by Bloomsbury in the UK at the beginning of October. But that only works if you live in the UK of course.
